The Moab Speed 2 Mid Tactical is designed with a smooth monochrome upper and is designed for law enforcement, military use, and other demanding outdoor jobs. It gives you the rugged durability of a hiking shoe along with waterproof protection and a sleek, streamlined look that will blend in with a uniform.
It’s identical to the regular Moab Speed 2 Mid: both boots feature a comfortable FloatPro foam midsole for shock absorption and a comfortable ride, and both have padded leather and mesh uppers with bellows tongues to keep out dirt and debris.
The main difference? The Tactical is about half an ounce heavier, and it lacks the Vibram TC5 outsole found on the regular Moab Speed 2 boot.
