Less weight and more power on the Kawasaki KLE500? It's now possible—and legal—with five SC-Project exits

The Kawasaki KLE500 is now available with five new SC-Project exhaust systems, designed to reduce weight, improve exhaust sound and provide minor performance enhancements. Each system complies with Euro 5+ regulations and is available from approximately €426*.

The most affordable option is the Rally Red Titanium Exhaust, which costs €426. Above that is the MX Titanium system for €450, while buyers can also choose an MX version equipped with a carbon fiber silencer. Both MX variants offer similar performance figures, the main difference being the build material.

The MX exhaust increases output by 1.1 hp at 8,000 rpm while adding 0.8 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. They reduce the overall weight of the motorcycle by 2.2 kg, improving agility and throttle response.

The Rally Raid system offers very similar benefits. Apart from trimming 2.1 kg, it also offers 1.1 hp at 8,000 rpm and increases torque by 1.1 Nm at 5,000 rpm, making it the strongest option in terms of torque gain.

Completing the range is the SC1-X family, available with titanium or carbon fiber silencers. Both versions match MX specifications, producing an additional 1.1 hp, adding 0.8 Nm of torque and reducing weight by 2.2 kg. The price starts from around €464 depending on the specification.

The new Kawasaki KLE500 marked the brand’s return to the mid-capacity adventure motorcycle segment earlier this year and is available in both Standard and SE versions. Buyers can also choose from several accessory packages, whose prices range from approximately €7,900 to €9,100 depending on the trim selected.
