according to wkmg news 6, The driver of the Nissan denied charges of street racing, however he was nevertheless detained and charged with “engaging in vehicle racing and driving at dangerous excessive speed”.
“I wasn’t street racing,” Bosworth reportedly told the deputy fox 35 orlando. The officer’s response: “Well, you can’t call it street racing, you can call it highway racing, road racing. Whatever you want to call it…whatever you’re doing, we don’t condone it here in Lake County.”
The Corvette driver was reportedly pulled over, and he was only 57 years old. He also denied the street racing charges and claimed his car was too old (1998) to reach the alleged speeds, but was eventually taken into custody. Later both the drivers were released on bail.
