Every 2027 Sequoia is powered by a hybrid powertrain that pairs a 3.4L twin-turbo V6 with a motor-generator. It makes 437 net combined horsepower, and 583 lb-ft of torque. The Sequoia can tow up to 4,137 kg (9,121 pounds). New for 2027 and in addition to its standard safety suite, the Sequoia also gets trailering features called Trailer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (TADAS) that include automated trailer detection, trailer blind-spot monitor, trailer lane-trace assist, and trailer backup guide. There’s a standard 14-inch touchscreen across the lineup with a built-in Drive Recorder Dash Cam.

2027 Toyota Sequoia Canadian pricing

Trim Starting MSRP
SR5 TRD Off-Road $91,250
Trailhunter $95,552
Limited $94,000
Platinum $103,800
Platinum + tow mirrors $104,150
Capstone $108,700
Capstone + tow mirrors $109,050
TRD Pro $109,851

Note that all pricing is subject to an additional freight and PDI fee.

There are eight trims in total, with the first three — SR5-TRD Off-Road, Trailhunter, and Limited — offering a second-row bench seat for a total of up to eight passengers in the vehicle. The 2027 Sequoia’s all-new Trailhunter package offers overlanding capabilities and comes equipped with Old Man Emu upgraded suspension, an underbody skid plate, front recovery hooks, and Michelin LTX Trail tires. It’ll be easy to tell apart from other trims because it also gets bronze wheels and unique badging.

If you prefer captain’s chairs instead of the bench seat, you can get a removable centre console, but that limits the vehicle to seven-passenger capacity. If off-roading is more your thing, the TRD Pro trim also gets a suspension upgrade for 2027 with FOX-enhanced QS3 adjustable shocks, in addition to standard red tow hooks and a new exterior paint colour, Honeycomb, seen in the image above.
