CFMoto is making waves in the American ATV market with the introduction of the C4, C5 and C6 Pro models. But these machines are meant for recreational riders and not for farm work or hunting trips, for which many people choose ATVs.
However, in Europe, CFMoto has something else going on. GOES was acquired by the Chinese manufacturer in 2024, and soon after the company created an entirely new lineup, unveiling them in late 2025 in preparation for the 2026 model year.
GOES was founded in France in 2004 and was an independent powersports brand until the CFMoto acquisition. The brand’s focus was on developing robust, utility-oriented machines ranging from 50 cc youth quads to heavy-duty 4x4s and 1000 cc work and farm vehicles.
Although the company’s manufacturing roots are in France, GOES uses CFMoto technology to create its lineup. And while they may be differentiated from other machines from the Chinese brand, they share components and technology.
For the 2026 model year, GOES is introducing three models, with a fourth expected soon. But these machines won’t be appearing in North America, at least not yet.

The brand’s flagship model is the Terox 1000, which is essentially a re-badged Seaforce 1000. The Terox is powered by the same 963 cc V-twin engine good for 90 hp and also shares the same CVT gearbox with switchable 4WD with both high and low ranges.
However, what separates the Terox from its CFMoto brethren is the payload capacity. according to team utv driverGOES has a payload capacity of 300 kg (661 lb), significantly more than the 240 kg (529 lb) offered on the Seaforce 1000. Both machines appear to be on the same chassis with matching wheelbase and identical suspension components – namely adjustable, gas-filled shocks at all four corners.
The other two models introduced by GOES are branded as Terox 550. Like the 1000 variants, they share a powerplant with their CFMoto cousins, in this case the CForce C5 gets a 499cc single-cylinder, good for 39hp.

Both models of the Terox 550 have switchable 4WD and CVTs with high and low gear ratios with lockable differentials. What differentiates the two 550 models is the wheelbase. There are 50.8-inch and 58.3-inch models available but they are almost indistinguishable from each other.
The fourth GOES model, which was revealed late last year, will likely be badged as the Terox 350, although it has not been fully unveiled yet. It is intended to be an entry-level model, but no less than a working-class machine like the larger 550 and 1000 variants on offer.
Machines manufactured by GOES are currently available in 27 countries, with over 1200 dealers spread across Europe, South Africa, Australia and both South and Central America. But they are not available in North America.
Will we see GOES appear on our shores, or will they be rebranded as CFMoto machines for working-class riders? Given consumers’ unfamiliarity with the GOES name, my guess is the latter. Especially considering how much effort CFMoto has put into establishing itself in the North American market, offering a wide range of both motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs.
We’ll just have to wait and see where it goes.
