‘Best comedy series of all time’: Only one non-US sitcom made the top 10
A British comedy series joins the American-dominated television rankings. Co-creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant revamp the television comedy with the original UK version Office. The series premiered on BBC Two in July 2001. It is based on the employees of a small paper company in Slough, a town in the county of Berkshire, England.
