ABC series getting adaptation starring a Nuyorican procedural
Isabella Maldonado’s a forgotten murdersequel book a killer gameis being done adapted into a TV series Via Justin Hartley’s production company (Tracker; this is us). The book features Nuyorican FBI Special Agent Daniela “Dani” Vega paired with NYPD detectives to solve an active serial killer case and look at a case from Dani’s childhood, where her mother murdered her father when she was seventeen. Alyssa Cole’s next thriller
Alyssa Cole has a thriller releasing in early 2027 (!!), it takes a village, and this just revealed I loved his social thriller when no one is lookingAnd although it is not a sequel, it is set in the same universe. I mention this in case you need a gentle encouragement to read Cole’s backlist, which also includes great romances like an extraordinary unionA mix of romance and espionage during the Civil War.
Agatha Christie adaptations continue
BBC’s latest Hercule Poirot adaptation, herculehas now led its (youngest ever): Edward Bluemel (sex education, to kill eve). The 33-year-old will play the famous Belgian detective in the reboot, and since BritBox is co-producing the series, American audiences will be able to watch it too.
