  • How much will people pledge for a good podcast? The California-designed Apple History Podcast has now raised over $200,000 in its Kickstarter campaign with seven days to go. (There are tons of fiction podcasts or podcast apps that can help you financially, just saying. Oh, and this.)

  • UK podcast festival, Crossed Wires, has revealed its guests and local lineup for the event. Greg James and Alice Levine are set to headline the first day of the festival with the first live show of their new podcast Bad Chat; While Miquita Oliver has been announced to be joining How to Fail alongside Elizabeth Day. The festival is being held in Sheffield from 2–5 July.


  • Australian television personality Karl Stefanovic has deleted a recent episode karl stefanovic show Where he interviewed and praised far-right activist and convicted criminal Tommy Robinson. Stefanovic’s main employers, Nine Entertainment, say the podcast has nothing to do with them – and they are taking the matter ‘seriously’. One media outlet suggests that Stefanovic has been fired from his $2 million TV job.
