okuma DTR Custom is expanding the B Series line of rods with new Okuma DTR Custom B Inshore Rods. Inspired by the harsh conditions of the inshore fishing off Venice, Louisiana, where tackle is pushed to its limits. The new Okuma DTR Custom B Inshore rods are built on an advanced 24/30-ton carbon rod blank for a responsive, connected feel, while still having plenty of lifting power and strength. Add to that blank an increased tip diameter for a measurable gain in dead lift capacity and an overall power increase of 58.4% compared to a conventional blank. As for the rest of the rod, the guides are Fuji K-Concept guides with Fuji Phaselite guide inserts to help reduce wind knots and smooth performance with the braid. The reel seat features a blank-through handle design to enhance direct contact with the blank for improved sensitivity. For handle configuration, there are two options. One option is Thin TPE front and rear split grips, providing a modern, durable option with excellent grip, while select Full Grip models feature traditional cork front and rear grips for a classic look and feel.

The Okuma DTR Custom Inshore B Rods will be available for purchase this July with an MSRP of $159.99 for one rod. All eight models of inshore rods come with a 3-year warranty through Okuma.
