While there wasn’t much news on the Avengers: Doomsday (The latest trailer for which dropped rapidly this week odysseyto a somewhat muted reception online) and 2027 avengers: secret wars.

After many rumors and speculations, Feige announced that the character Ghost Rider would return to the MCU, this time played by Ryan Gosling. Film, directed by deadpool and wolverine Directed by Shawn Levy, to be released in 2028. The author is yet to be announced.
This then marks the reunion of Gosling and Levi Star Wars: Starfighter And a return to Marvel for Levi after the previously mentioned deadpool and wolverine. What is less clear at this point is which version Gosling will play the spirit of vengeance. However, it will most likely be a reprise of Johnny Blaze, who was last portrayed by Nic Cage in the 2007 theatrical version, which also starred Gosling’s wife Eva Mendes (it’s unclear whether she’ll return for this or not).
It’s also worth mentioning that Ghost Rider technically Already exists in the MCU, as Gabriel Luna played the Robbie Reyes version of the character agents of SHIELD Although I’m not exactly sure how much of that series is or isn’t canon nowadays. Levi, a steady hand who doesn’t rock the boat too much, seems like an odd choice for a property and character that relies more on metal than corporate-friendly.
