Does the new BMW X5 have a split tailgate?

  • The new BMW X5 does not have a split-folding tailgate
  • BMW claims this is due to customer feedback
  • BMW says the new tailgate is wider and easier to load luggage into

Still, we’re sad it’s gone, and there are fewer SUVs with a great rear tailgate setup.
