Rescue efforts are underway in Venezuela after two powerful earthquakes caused buildings to collapse and at least 164 people died, and there are fears that the death toll could rise significantly. The country’s interim leader Delsey Rodriguez has declared a state of emergency, saying 971 people were injured and more were feared dead.
