CDLP has added a gray melange colorway to its Essentials collection, bringing one of menswear’s most recognizable colors to its signature range of Tencel Lyocell underwear and everyday basics.
Long a favorite in sportswear and casual wardrobes, gray mélange is extremely difficult to recreate in premium TENCEL lyocell due to its distinctive marled texture. After years of development, CDLP has now introduced the shade to its main collections including underwear, t-shirts, tank tops and socks.
The launch campaign features British dancer and actor Sam Salter, known for the roles wonka And Wicked. Shot in a laundromat in South London by CDLP co-founder Christian Larsen, the photo focuses on the dynamism, simplicity and everyday rituals that inspired the collection.
For CDLP, the appeal of gray melange lies in its versatility. Familiar yet sophisticated, the new colorway brings a timeless menswear staple into the minimalist world of the brand’s elevated essentials.
