CBS News is introducing a new podcast, Great Question with Tony Dokoupil, aiming to provide deeper insights into current news topics.
The show, hosted by CBS Evening News anchor Tony Dokoupil, will release new episodes twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Each episode features Tony asking a single, thought-provoking question about a major issue in the news, then inviting a guest who is well-placed to help answer it.
The podcast is designed for listeners who want to understand the context and significance of news stories, rather than just keeping up with headlines.
Tony brings a direct and curious approach to the interviews, focusing on clarity and relevance for the audience.
Episodes will be available on the CBS Evening News YouTube channel and on all major podcast platforms.
The first episode will be released on Monday, 26 October.
According to CBS News, the format is to help listeners make sense of the news cycle by exploring the questions that matter most.
