Quick Read:

  • Now gets ride-by-wire and traction control

  • Produces more power than the previous generation bike

Bajaj Auto has launched the 2026 Pulsar NS200, it is priced at Rs 1,60,374 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle comes with a host of updates, such as ride-by-wire, TFT console, and some added convenience features. Here is everything you need to know:

Electronic Throttle and Ride Modes

The electronic throttle body is the biggest update to the bike. It enables ride modes, which changes the power output of the bike according to the mode selected. Also, with this the bike gets traction control. Bajaj has also included a quickshifter– which should help with smoother gearshifts.

These additions offer a more adaptable and safer experience for riders.

The New TFT Display

The rider interface gets a complete overhaul. The semi-digital LCD console is replaced by a 5-inch TFT colour display. Its headline feature is Google Maps mirroring, allowing for turn-by-turn navigation. This is a significant convenience upgrade. Also, the bike gets a new set of switchgear, which makes navigation through the display easier.

Further enhancing practicality are several new additions. It is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port, which is located on the left side of the instrument console. The bike comes with adjustable front brake and clutch levers, where riders can change the lever position according to their preference. Also, the new panic brake alert safety feature is an addition to be welcomed.

Hardware Updates

The rear gets a 130-section tyre but a radial one, which should give better grip and handling compared.

Power and Engine Carryover

The core of the Pulsar NS200 remains the same; it gets a 199.5 cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine. That  is paired to a six-speed gearbox.

While the engine remains the same, Bajaj has managed to extract a little more from the motor . The power output has increased by 1 PS, now at 25.5 PS, up from the previous 24.5 PS, the torque figure remains the same at 18.74 Nm.

Pricing and Value Readiness

The updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is priced at Rs 1,60,374 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 22,055 more expensive than the previous model. The price hike is justified with additional features. With these updates the NS200 is now positioned as a more tech-equipped 200cc motorcycle.
