A former WWE Superstar and one-time United States Champion has addressed speculation that he is returning to the promotion.
Following WrestleMania 42, WWE conducted a long series of roster cuts which included the New Day, Wyatt Six, Apollo Cruz, Zelina Vega, Aleister Black, Motor City Machine Guns, and Kairi Sane.
However, it was recently reported that the company was close to reuniting with another recently released superstar in the form of Baron Corbin (real name Thomas Peastock).

If Corbin is returning to WWE, it makes sense that he would want to keep it as secret as possible. Remember, WWE Hall of Famer Edge has consistently denied speculation that he’s coming out of retirement in the weeks leading up to the 2020 Royal Rumble. Of course, Edge returned to the ring that night.

After tryouts with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals, Corbin joined WWE in 2012. He joined the main roster at WrestleMania 32 in 2016, making a statement with a victory in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
During his 12-year tenure in WWE, Corbin won the United States Championship, the NXT Tag Team titles with Braun Breaker, the 2019 King of the Ring tournament, and the 2017 men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
