The new GBXH5600-1 and GBXH5600-2 retain everything surfers love about the G-LIDE series while reducing nearly 30 percent of their weight. A new bio-based resin bezel and carbon-reinforced case create a light, sleek profile without compromising the toughness that G-Shock is known for. Add tide data from over 3,000 surf spots around the world, fitness tracking and 200m water resistance, and the latest G-LIDE models are built for everything from morning patrol sessions to everyday wear.

In addition to saving weight, the clear bezels and visible structure provide the watches with lots of dynamic texture and contrast. The solid black and blue colors positioned on the band echo the respective bezel tones and dial accents.
Like other versions of the G-LIDE models, the GBXH5600-1 and GBXH5600-2 offer a digital high-definition, high-contrast MIP LCD dial with a wide viewing angle. The full-dot display provides fine, detailed rendition of information, including the best function a surfer could ask for – a tide graph that shows the ocean waves.
The Casio Watches smartphone app also gives the wearer location-specific surf-centric data for detailed tidal information, moon phase, sunrise and sunset times for approximately 3,300 major surfing locations around the world.

Both GBXH5600 models are equipped with an optical heart rate sensor and accelerometer, which controls workouts, step count, sleep recovery and blood oxygen levels through the app. The pair offers G-Shock’s eponymous shock-resistant construction, 200 meters of water resistance, Bluetooth connectivity, solar-assisted charging, a vibration alarm, a 100-hour stopwatch, and a 60-minute countdown timer.
