Looking to finally reach the light? While trekking pole tents have become lighter and cheaper so they have largely fallen out of favor, a bivy is still a weight-conscious option for hikers who are not claustrophobic. The OR Helium has weathered even the worst storms along the way and weighs barely a pound.

NEMO Resolution 15 Backpack
The Resolve 15, which largely uses recycled materials and whose polyester construction is easier to recycle than nylon models, is one of the more sustainable daypacks on the market. It performed as well, with our backpack testers praising its comfort and organizational options.
