I love it when things are stupid and bad. This extends to cars, and I’ve probably never seen it better This Testarossa-Styled Chevy Blazer. Some enterprising guy looked at the 1985 Blazer and thought “Sure it would be better if it looked like Sonny Crockett’s Ferrari” – a concept so weird I’ll just have to respect it. It’s terrible, really bullshit, and I can’t help but applaud it for that.

The basis for this build is the 1985 S10 Blazer, the smaller counterpart to the beloved K5. The vendor has added custom bodywork all around, including Testarossa-inspired styling elements on the doors that flow into the rear fenders – at least, in theory. In fact, there’s not much flow going on here, as nothing about the Blazer’s body sits well with Ferrari’s design ethos. The seller says the Blazerosa “needs the driver’s door shaved to match the comfort” along with other finishing details, as if anyone else on God’s green Earth would have the same aesthetic taste as the creator of this thing.

The details are even stranger

The whole concept behind this blazer is mind-boggling, but the closer you look the weirder it all becomes. Why are mirrors so inconsistent with the rest of the design ethos? Why is it poisonous green on the front, and dark emerald on the back? Why do it look like the doors are painted differently? Why is window tint so bad? Why is there so much Bondo? Above Custom paint?

this blazerosa This has completely broken my mind, and I can’t love it. It’s so bad that it gets around to being impressive in its audacity, and I want it to live forever. If you buy this car, please promise me that you will neither bring it back to stock nor scrap it. It’s this kind at best, a half-baked construction of a truly incomprehensible original. Blazerosa, I mean.
