Knopf’s publisher and editor-in-chief, Jordan Pawlin, describes the book as “blends detective fiction and the kind of intelligence that PG Wodehouse was known for,” to which we say, “Let’s go.”

But here’s the strange news: A decade ago, we read 500 billion pages per year. We are now reading 200 billion fewer pages than we were 10 years ago. One would expect the statistics to move in the opposite direction – entering the 500 billion page challenge.
