Do you have a Yamaha Tenere (either Super or 700)? How about another Yamaha dual-sport motorcycle over 250cc? If any of these things describe you, you’ll want to be the first to know about the Yamaha Tenere Trek, scheduled to take place from August 6 to 9, 2026. This is a Yamaha dual-sport owners rally, being held in the beautiful and mountainous region of Tamarack, Idaho.
Yamaha says the event is for owners of all experience levels; Not just experienced ADV riders. While there will be plenty of trail rides scheduled during the event, there will also be on-site riding seminars, as well as training opportunities to help riders improve their skills and increase their confidence levels. Naturally, Yamaha will also be bringing its entire T7 lineup for attendees to try out, including World Red.
It all kicks off on Thursday, August 6, 2026, with attendees arriving at the event and meeting each other at a welcome dinner. Friday and Saturday, the 7th and 8th, will be spent riding, meeting a selection of vendors, eating dinner and spending good time with other Yamaha Dual Sport owners.

The way Yamaha has structured this program is like an organized ‘choose-your-own-adventure’ type of deal. While attendee/ride registration is set at US$250 per person, and passenger/guest registration (if you bring a pillion seat) is only $50, it is up to each attendee what type of accommodation experience they want during the event.
If you want a room at the Tamarack Resort, where the event is being held, Yamaha will have some special rates for you. All accommodation costs will be in addition to the registration fee you pay to attend the programme.
If you don’t want to stay at a resort, that’s cool too. Curlew Campground, approximately four miles north of the resort, will be available for attendees to camp at $50 (paid at registration). Finally, you can also choose to book yourself a spot in the Osprey Point Group Yurt for $75, and these accommodations include vault-style toilets and a central water station. There are three yurts available, and each can accommodate 10 people; Like the Curlew campsite, this can also be booked upon event registration.
