- Porsche has updated the Taycan for 2027, but the two wagon variants have been discontinued.
- Porsche cited low sales as the reason for the decision.
Porsche has officially discontinued its last two wagons. With the arrival of the updated electric Taycan for 2027, the automaker is discontinuing the Taycan Sport Turismo and Taycan Cross Turismo.
in a statement to K.B.B.Porsche said the reason for the decision was low miles. Porsche spokesperson confirmed this news motor1 In an email.
Taycan sales in the US peaked in 2023, with Porsche selling 7,570 EVs, but they have been declining since then. Porsche plans to sell 4,747 Taycans in 2024 and 4,142 cars in 2025.
Taycan sales are also down so far this year, with Porsche selling 607 cars in the first three months of the year, compared to 1,019 cars sold at the beginning of 2025. It doesn’t make sense to offer three different body styles on such a low-selling car, especially when customers are turning away from electric vehicles.

Motor1’s Opinion: It’s a very sad day when a wagon dies, but hitting two at the same time seems a little cruel – even if the reason is completely understandable. Porsche once offered a Panamera wagon, but it scrapped that too because no one bought it.
Porsche doesn’t sell any wagons here anymore.
